I thought that statement was appropriate because although I have always enjoyed reading others "tags" and have been "tagged' more than once I have yet to play the game. Lame-o is not my middle name but sometimes it should be. However, here is my tagged reply so I can feel redeemed from the Lame-o status.
#1- I have many body quirks. I can honk my nose and sound just like those great honkers that you used to have on your bikes. This has provided joy and delight to children everywhere, however my own son could care less. I also have the ability to make the Xena warrior princess call, loudly. I have really really sharp teeth. I can chew a straw into a perfect spiral and those little plastic things that attach tags to new clothes? No match for this razor grin. Also I cut the tip of my right ring finger off when I was 2-ish and had to have plastic surgery to repair it (I remember nothing about this) So I have had plastic surgery (which I love to tell people and then watch them try to figure out where in the world I had it) and a slightly deformed ring finger which I love. I realize that was a few interesting things in one but I would have felt Lame-o yet again if all I came up with was odd body tricks and deformations.
#2- I have kissed a chipmunk! And although I really wish I could just leave it at that I know I ought to explain. I dated a boy in high school who recently did the voice for Simon in the new "Alvin and the Chipmunks" movie!
Matt has also been in a couple of other movies and has a lead role in CBS's hit drama
Criminal Minds. He also recently directed a
video for the Killers new Christmas song which I thought was hilarious. Matt is creative, kind and clever and I am happy to know him.
#3- I am just starting my own small graphic design business from home. I am self taught (with much much help from my great friend
wendy reni) and have been designing things for myself, church and sisters for almost 2 years now. And I am
just getting started in developing a professional clientele. I can't think of anything I have felt more anxious, nervous and thrilled about since I found out I was having a baby (
in fact come to think of it the emotions are really similar). And although this plan of mine is still definitely in its infant stages, I am excited to take on new work. Feel free to email me at cathy555@gmail.com if you would like to know more...
#4- When I was in 6th grade I had the job to dress up like Wendy from Wendy's, the fastfood chain. I had the red hair with the braids springing out of both sides of my head, the dress, the striped tights, everything. I did a "bowl for kids sake" event where my picture was in the paper with a local news broadcaster and a scantly clad woman magician from a show on the strip. I even got to throw out the first pitch at one of the Stars baseball games down at Cashman field. You might be laughing at me on the inside right now but I also think I got paid something like $9 an hour! And as a 6th grader making that kind of money....well who had the last laugh on that one?
#5- I have never cheated on a test. I do not recall ever cheating on any test in high school or in college. I would like to say that this stemmed from my innate integrity. I must admit that it really started from being incredibly bad at being sneaky...which is another trait that I continue to carry with me today. I do remember once my roommate (after she took the test) helped me whittle down the study guide of our biology test from like 5 pages to 3 of what information I would actually need to know... but come on? I would call that just plain smart...not cheating.
