Two of a Kind...

So last night I remembered right before bedtime that I forgot to switch Taj's sheets from the washer to the dryer, so we had to stall bedtime a little bit.  Taj however jumped right on this idea with an impromptu slumber party style hangout with his Dad.  We already had that blanket laid out on the floor but when Taj realized he was all ready for bed (without the going to bed part) he grabbed a pillow off the couch and snuggled in under that blanket and then told Dad to "mere! mere!" (Taj for "come here") until Mark laid down next to him and they just hung out there for a while and watched the latest on the presidential campaign.  Taj is pretty funny.  Every so often he will close his eyes as tight as he can and start to fake snore.  Then pop awake and LAUGH and LAUGH at how he must have just fooled us!  We like having Taj around.  Can't wait to meet his sibling! :)
No this picture did not take place in 1993.  Bill apparently is going to be the guest on Larry Kind tonight.
I can't help but wonder if I might contribute ANY genetics to this new baby since I obviously didn't add a thing to this little Mark clone!  And yes I will just admit right now that I did put Taj to bed with that much food on his face. :)

Make A Wish Taj...

So this weekend I went camping with the ladies in my ward.  It was a GREAT time (believe it or not).  I even went rappelling into a cave/giant hole in the ground! :)  I didn't take pictures of the trip but everyone else did so I will post those as soon as I get some.  It was a great way to kick off my officially feeling better during this pregnancy!
However, while I was gone Mark decided to shave Taj's head.  We have done this before but never quite this SHORT.  He is bald as a Que ball.  A guy at church yesterday suggested we take him to Disneyland right now because he thinks they would let us in the front of the all the lines! :) I thought that was hilarious!
So here he is.  Bald but still handsome as ever! He gets that from his Grandpa Owen.
This is Taj's version of a smile.
But this is the real deal smile!
And then I thought it couldn't hurt to show off my now present bump.  I am 14 weeks and starting to "show".  I know its not evident and I'm not stressing about it or anything, but there is legitimately a bump there so I wanted to show it.  This was right before I left for the hike which is why I look so glamorous!
