A couple days in Florida...(aka "funville")

Last weekend Cathy and I visited Florida for my brother's wedding.  My whole family was there so it was really fun to all be together again.

My bro Dave and his wife Natalia and my niece Chloe and nephew Javier.

This is my friend Dan (B-boy Buttons) and his wife Julia.  It was really fun to hang out with them again. 

We all went to my parents favorite BBQ joint "Charlie and Jake's."  Chloe was very excited for her chicken.

This is my mom's dad and his girlfriend Lois.  Grandpa Bob is a retired Marine.  We love them both.

These are my Dad's parents.  Grandad is a retired Air Force 3 Star General and Grandma had 10 kids.  They both qualify for sainthood and they are really cool.

Emily had a great time but she also knew how to take advantage of napping in and out of consciousness while we waited in line.

Mickey's 3-D orchestra was really cool.  They really under sell the experience because in addition to the 3-D show they squirt air and water at you which adds sense of touch making it atleast 4-D.

Taking off from the Melbourne, FL airport you fly right over the two inter-coastal waterways.  This is the Banana River and the Melbourne Causeway.

I snapped this as the plane was climbing above the clouds on our way home to Vegas.

The plane does a U-turn over the Atlantic and flies right over Kennedy Space Center.  You can't see it to well in the photo but you can see the giant Shuttle Hanger when you are looking out the window.
